Project A.R.M. is a 501c3 organization aimed at the financial, spiritual, and familial reconstruction of the African American community through artistic expression. As a diverse organization serving the needs of a diverse culture, Project A.R.M. strives to create awareness though innovative programming and seminars, with an emphasis on breaking the effects of negative stereotypes.
ABOUT US
Project A.R.M. is a 501c3 organization aimed at the financial, spirituProject A.R.M. Reaches out to the community and the youth in different areas by visiting schools, and teaching creative writing and thought process. Board Members along with volunteers (all artists) also assist students with spoken word performances, as well as finding their own voice of expression through the arts. Those same artists provide motivational speaking during career days and assemblies.
For the past four years Project A.R.M. Has also provided a platform for the youth to express themselves in a controlled conducive environment. These include:
· National Black Arts Festival Spoken Word Institute (2 Years)
· First Word Youth Open Mic (3 Years)
· First Word Poetry Slam _ Earthlink Live (2005)
· Decatur Book Festival (3 Years)

PROGRAMS
When Project A.R.M. Is now trailblazing paths by creating new and innovative programming, we also rally to the call of other non-profits with similar missions. We have fulfilled grants requiring artistic facilitation and assistance for affiliate non-profits at:

· Brown Middle School

· Dekalb Alternative School
